Now I have to repaint the hood on my car...along with the rear bumper. Son of a bitch! I topped off my oil this morning and sat the cap ontop of the intake. Well, my dumb-ass forgot to put it back on and shut the hood on it. Bigass ding on the top of the hood now... Keeping a DD "perfect" is a bitch.

 

did the same with my battery, left the socket wrench sitting on top of it. i gave up on having a pretty car lol.

 

A plain 2 to 3 inch cowl hood owns all.

 

 

Sucks.....but don't fix it. You're home free now. You've got the first ding on it after the major PITA build. Now you can relax and enjoy the hell out of the car without having your butt puckered all the time worrying that something will happen to it. Even with the wart, It looks better than 99% of our cars. Go make it fast and have fun.

Yeah I already had the chip off the back. So maybe later this month I'll dust the rear and the hood again. I hate having something like this happen, especially if its my fault. I did a whole damn head install without one scratch too. Then a dumbass mistake because I had my mind wandering about work.

 

Another reason I want to buy a nice DD. I just cant get financed due to having no credit history, considering I turn 18 tomorrow. And, I have no-one to cosign because everyone except for my dad's credit blows. He already has too many vehicles under his credit to co-sign me...

I'd like to get a '96-'98 cobra, a clean modified '99-'04 GT, or if the right one came along - another fox (LX or Coupe) to do another project with.
