REPS for Hurstmeister
Several months ago I posted a thread on mustang rearends, basically here's what happened:
I took a rear out of a mid 80s turbo T-bird (4 lug) and using the ring and pinion out of a fox (also 4 lug) took the 7.5 axles out of a 96,(5 lug) combined them all to build the rearend in my 96 autocross car. I had to cut of the t-bird brake supports and use the 96 brakes complete for the swap. The axles from the 96 were the correct length for the t-bird housing.
Hurstmeister called this in the forum, including the cutting of the old brake brackets.
good job, it was ......................butter

Yeah, Hurst is always pretty good with letting people know about all the little shit they will run into. He always has really good descriptions and pictures on how to do stuff too.
