I like the current Mustangs but I'm not so sure about that one for 2010. Maybe it will look better in person. I don't see the Camaro cues that you guys seem to see. It looks more Chargerish to me in those pics...and we all know what's happening to Chrysler.

But what do I know? Maybe better to print more money and throw it to GM.
I'm with this idea! get together with some reputable aftermarket companys and offer a Twisted Wedge edition, or Edelbrock... Expand on what they have and offer performance upgrades that people usually add, refer to the KISS method

I like it! Im not gonna lie, I wouldnt buy one because I think the 3-valve is horrible but the styling is on par with a lot of newer cars and it looks good!

i think it looks sharp. as long as it is not as big as the current gen. to me it looks like they are trying to bring back some of the classic body style still. reminds me of an old fast back. the wheel are just retarded though. every year they are getting bigger and bigger. and the inter is getting a little bulky. the steering wheel looks like crap to me and i dont really like the newer gen dash and center consule. its just to big and i dont like how the gages are set so are into the dash.

I think they were trying for the 69-70 look.
I travel many times a year and hit lots of different airports. Many hours spent at the crap airport bars waiting for flights. I do meet many different people from different industries. If I ever meet a Ford designer I am going to beat him about his head and neck.

My Man, John! If I'm there, I'll hold him down for you. I hope he's the guy that designed the Fox around that one screw that holds the lid on the heater box above the core.

Has anyone here ever sat in the BACK seat of a mustang? ANY mustang....It doesn't matter...They are SMALL! Even the current ones are small in the back. They said they designed them (originally) as a "family sports car". Yeah...Umm...What kind of "family? Migets?

Personally I love the way the 2010 looks. BTW, its exactly the same car as the S197 if everything I have read is correct. Its just a body redesign. The same thing they did between the 98-99 cars. Same car, different body panels. Also, I dont know if any of you guys remember but back in 05 when the S197's first came out they were going for upwards of 30k too. Its probably because people will buy it. In 2 years the used ones will be going for 17k-22k. The new ones probably around 28k-32k.

Here is some information on it.
Ford Mustang (fifth generation) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The rims are bigger because all cars are getting bigger rims now. Its what people want and are willing to buy. Money talks and bullshit walks. You could take and put 17's on it again but people wouldnt be as inclined to buy them when compared to the camaro's and charger's and challenger's. Im right there with you guys about the rims. I hate big rims. In fact I would rather take the bullett's off of my car and put some 15 inch welds on it. Just looks better IMO.
