WTF Hyundai possibly being in Nascar, that's bullshit. Nascar is going to lose a lot of fans if Chevy & Dodge go to the way side.

More backwards thinking from the man everybody thought was smarter than God himself.

Chevy and Dodge leave Nascar and Nascar will cease to exist as a sanctioning body... the whole program will die. All the races that the local economies depend on to bring outside income, all of the people who work the races, it's fucking getting old to see this moron demand the wrong course of action.

Who will this hurt? Almost everyone who lives in a Nascar race city. Ridiculous.

They should have dropped out when they started begging for money. This included ford when they were asking for money.

If chevy and dodge both leave I hope ford goes with them just to stand with the other american companies. It might mean the end of nascar but it's not like they are really stock car racing anymore anyway.

Sadly, I have to say it's a good move. These companies are asking for more of our tax-paying-dollars; but dropping millions on NASCAR. While I am a NASCAR fan, and do understand the revenue(s) those events produce in local economies when those races are at each track... The bleeding has to be stopped somewhere - even if only long enough for another wound to open up

Not a big fan of Nascar, nor this economy. I think its the right move as well. When my money gets tight the FIRST thing that gets dropped is the toys. Why are should the manufacturers be any different?

Yikes...This is a tough call to make...But I think it's the RIGHT call to make. I mean, Chevrolet took that bailout money...and they had a party....They spent millions on a party for the execs. Yeah, they have proven that they can spend the money wisely.. I'm glad Ford didn't ask for the help and decided to restructure on it's own.

This is what happens when we allow the gooberment to take over too much.

Oh yeah, and I hate Nascrap. Like the article says, there is no R&D able to be done now due to the regulations imposed by the governing body. Keep the drag racing series.....But thats getting regulated a bit now too in the interest of keeping the drivers "safer".
