Finished the stang - NMRA Modular Muscle Drag Car
NHRA has mandated that all battery cut off switch's now must be a push/pull type setup.
As for the location it needs be out the rear most part of the vehilce according the the rule book.
But I am willing to bet it will pass tech for the time being since NHRA started to warn people about the rule change in 08 and I think it has become mandatory in the 09 rules.....could be wrong on my timeline though but I know I have seen alot of racers out at sunshine getting a talkin to about it. But I know they have just been giving out warnings to racers right now. Kinda like you can race today but dont show back up with it like this next week

BTW other than that battery switch....good looking car.

Those so called "techs" might wanna go back and check the NMRA rule book lol.
The rule book states that "all racers competing should follow the NHRA safety guidelines as outlined in their offical rulebook as a minimum to ensure legality."
So according to that statement....if they are following NHRA safety rules (like they should be) that battery switch is not legal.
Seriously I am not trying to be a dick to you nor to the techs who teched the car (they might not be up on the newest rules
, I am just tryin to let you know before you get stuck not racing somewhere due to something stupid and small.

it's also passed tech at Bradenton, Orlando, Palm Beach International Speedway as well as Gainsville.
