i was on a job today and i walk away from my truck for less that 3 mins get back over there and all of my tool are stolen . all of my fucking tool are gone ! i was in a nice apartment complex in a nice part of town and some fucking scumbag steals them. about $1200.00 worth [so for] of tool .so tomarrow i have to spend money to go to work . FOR FUCK SAKE ! - end rant

Its annoying but I constantly lock my trucks. I had to kick two kniggas out of the truck one day. Only takes a second with back turned.

 

Brian, make a report to the police, claim that shit on your insurance. If you have a low enough deductible to make it cheaper that is. And so long as teh rates wouldn't jump on ya. You could even stretch the truth a bit and say it was more like $3000 of tools....

 

i called yesterday some arabe told me i had to have home owers insurance for it to be covered . im going down today to see if there is anything they can do.

 

If you have a truck which has tool boxes, invest in a rotwiller(sp) or a pit.
Train them to be mean to anyone who is not "Ok'd" by you.

Park the truck.

tie the dog to the bed of the truck.

Post a cpl warning signs around the truck.

Lay expensive tools all over the bed of the truck.

Set up lawn chair about a block away.

Get out video camera.

Thats why Florida has a waiting list of 95,000 people who want a concelled weapons permit, to bad that it happened to you but this is the world we live in now, I had to deal with this every day when I lived in New York City over ten years ago. This is one reason why my son has a gun with him every day.

 

my mother is one of the people waiting on her concealed permit. i should be in that line too i guess. i took the class but never turned in the paperwork for the permit.

 

That fucking sucks Brian.....trust me I know all too well on how expensive tools are!
