I run a restaurant in Lakeland. we have a small patch of land I'm continually having cleared behind my parking lot because tribes of homeless people move back there and set up little tent town and drink, shoot up, and have sex, then panhandle in my parking lot. So i'm constantly having them trespassed.

So today I'm at work and notice a couple guys back there in my little bit of woods. I walk back and look at them and see a fairly young kid (about 10:30, should be in school).

Normally I make them leave myself and trespass them if they come back but since there was a kid there I called LPD.

The officer shows up stat and we go back there. He orders the guys and the kid out of the little patch of woods and to his car, starts asking questions, then puts the kid in the car and goes, "I'm taking this one with me, he's the subject of a missing person's investigation!!!!

He was a big kid but probably no more than 13, god knows what those freaks would do with him.
I felt really good about this one.

 

Good job, you probably prevented some nasty things happening. Where in Lakeland, I work out in that area?

 

Man,,I'm glad theres people like you out there doing the right thing...The thought of what could of happen to this kid is just sickning...Thanks bro for being rightous and having morals and common sense to do the right thing....
