What happened to the build thread for your truck?

 

Deleto along with mav thread.. Its the wrong forum. My friends see it coming together and are always welcome. Spending time building it(and 3 other projects)
This site has gone downhill,many of the quality posters are gone and tech help is thin.

Laura and I were actually hunting around on Ebay after missing an old dodge 1 ton we looked at then put off making a decision. I have a 2000 chevy K2500 ( yes they made the old style from 98-00 even wirh the new style out) Anyway its got a fuel injected 454 , 4x4 , auto trans , good rear and shit and only 37,000 miles been looking for a proiject to do a drivetrain or possibly a whole chassi swap as the body on the 00 is beat to FUCK and well My 1st car was almost a 56 ford f100 .. I got screwed out of it tho so ive always had an underlaying urge to do up a street truck. I was enjoying your thread alot. I didnt notice it was gone I always just checked it when i saw it on the top of the list

 

You think your '00 is beat up,wait till you try making a 40's truck look decent It can be done but takes alot of time and cash to get parts. Basically gotta love it. Having a newer chassis helps alot. I basically redid everything on the chassis,engine,and all mechanical controls. I recently cut the entire dash off in favor of another. Ill post pics when further along. I will finish it and do something daily.

Yeah Joe I know the 00 isnt as ratty as most of the project trucks around but one way its just a dented to fuck low milage truck that looks like its got 300,000 miles on it. The other way its a cool old truck =)
