they are trying to compete with a vehicle that is one of the most reliable platforms on the road. The current Crown Vic has 30 years of R&D into it. Even the other cars fielded for the police market by Chrysler and GM suffer from reliability issues compared to the CV's

And they still cant make a seat thats comfortable to sit on for 8 hours. Its like sitting on a pizza box full of rocks.
