Thoughts on new Challenger
I don't like them. Reminds me of when the 05 Mustangs came out, and you mostly just saw the V6's. It just looks like it's missing exterior add-ons.

the 03 cobra that is so popular tips the scales are 3665-3700 and they are very popular. Im sure we will see plenty of challengers out there
a loaded out big block 1970 mustang was 3,240lbs
1970 challenger TA weighted 4152 Challengers have never been small light cars
2008 mustang gt is what 3,550 lbs with a small block.
This puts them right where they were in 1970 considering the only weight the mustang lost was the difference in a BBF to an sbf or close to it.
I would say Dodge is spot on with the challenger and ignorance is working as intended

I fail to see any ignorance on this end. I would hope in 40 years dodge could make a two door car that didnt weigh more than a ford luxury car or a big four door modern cadilac. Especially in the current times that we live in

They remade the challenger. They didnt make a ford luxery car or a cadillac tho. They didnt remake their poney car cuda that remade the big mean bitch with the 425 horse hemi im 99% sure the 70 challenger TA even out weighed most of the chargers or not all of them. Its a very deciving car very heavy. Trust me ive been in one more times then I drove my 03 cobra the year I owned it. U can actually see the exact one at the beginning of American Gangster. Anyway I think they did just fine and it truely fits what a challenger was. IM PRAYING they if this car is popular they will come out of no where with a new Cuda after the new camaro hits the streets and crush it.

I love 'em, 2 of my best friends had early 70s challengers growing up (neither was the fastest car around) but they were gorgeous, this thing brings back memories!! Make mine black.
