I read something years ago that said in the comic books, Stan Lee named him Bruce Banner. When they went to TV, in the pilot episode, they called him Bruce, but the TV executives decided Bruce was too gay sounding of a name so they changed it to David.

The technicalities don't matter. Just, when you think of the Incredible Hunk (the character..not the movie, comic book, tv series, etc), which name comes to mind first?
