Just A Heads Up... New Bike Cops...
Not sure how soon, but I heard from a good source that Pasco County will be opening a new police bike patrol soon... while this may not sound like anything new, it is.. ( or at least to me, since I have never heard of it. )
They are going to use crotch rockets to patrol... One of their main bikes will be Suzuki Gsxr's...

I remember the two Hyahbussa's they had out at Gandy.Painted up just like the cop cars.Only seen them one weekend though.

HCSO has a couple painted up, slammed down, streched out Busa's. They were doing undercover stuff on for the street racing scene. They have a couple clean Honda street cars they use as well.

holy shit... they are gettin sneeky!! Spring Hell has some pretty badass undercovers as well, i've seen an exursion with someone pulled over, a new charger, the newer chrysler wagon(i forgot the name of them)... and a couple others like impalas and shit... be careful before you front someone to race on the street....also.... TAKE IT TO THE TRACK!!

If these follow suit of whatother departments have done they will be clearly marked. And I somehow doubt they'll be much more of a threat than the police Harleys. Sure, they're faster, but there is only so aggressive they're gonna let the cops be on a 2-wheeled vehicle.

Honestly, it's WAY cheaper than running the chopper, and this way they still keep you in their sights. At least until a 4 wheeled vehicle gets close enough. I hope they know not to try the PIT manuver with a motorcycle.

I'm sure one cop is gonna mash the throttle and send himself into a vehicle at 140 and that will be the end of that.

I already saw a Pasco Deputy on what looked like a brand new, sporty bike. Not a crotch rocket, but not a Harley either. It was like a BMW sport touring type of bike (I'm not a bike guy, not sure). He was in uniform and it was marked though.
