The fiance and I are going to watch the Rays vs. the Yank-mes at Yankee Stadium in September. We've been looking at some prices for flights, and hotels

Wanted to see if anyone here has any connects up North? We may just stay at my fiance's family's place in CT - it's about an hour drive to NY though.

Flights, Hotels, Car Rentals, Tickets?! Anything suckas?!

i always fly jet blue from tampa to JFK. I can also hook you up with a car service to pick your ass up and take you to CT. As for hotels where is it you would like to stay? Where is your fiances family from in CT?

 

She's from Bridgeport I think?! Not 100% sure,

We might just go ahead and splurge on some good tickets, and use the 'hotel money' for that, thus leaving us to stay with her familia in CT.

 

The yankees suck......really

 

bridgeport is about 30 min north of me. I dont have a hook up on yankees tickets anymore tho but i can make a few calls.

 

Well my fiances best friend's uncle has season tickets. He's made mention that he'd be interested in letting us buy them for that series; so we're working on that. If that falls through, stub-hub has some seats for $155 in left field. Not a bad deal, IMO.

I hate the Yankees. Period. Always have, probably always will. My father and fiance are DIE-HARD fans though. I'm a Rays (AL) & Braves (NL) fan.

For me, and my fiance, this is the BEST of both worlds for us. I love the Rays, she loves the Yankees. I've NEVER been to NY, and never been to Yankees Stadium (obviously). With this being the last year that they're going to play there - I feel it is my responsibility as a devoted baseball fan to attend at least one game there before it's tear-down!
