Nothing like supposedly buying parts. Get your customers car in the shop. Tear it down and then find the parts are no longer for sale. Out two days work putting it back the way it was. Can't charge for putting his car back the way it was. Glad the customer was a good friend.I think i will just take off the rest of the week.

You must be new at this? Shouldn't have taken the car apart until you had the parts. People change their mind, Its one of the things in this country that is still legal.

Default Dude

I have been building and fixing cars for over 30 years. I was raised that a mans word it his bond. I guess things are changing. Lesson learned. But on the bright side I ended up toinght with the same stuff for half the price. I guess things happen for a reason.

Or you could always have happen what happened to me today. Over $3100 for a bill and find out your customer has no money to pay for it just a check that wont even clear check systems........ Now that sucks ass, being I still have to pay the tech and for the parts but I am stuck with a POS car that wont even be able to sell for 3 months.

So what your saying is, You took a car apart before you had the parts you needed, then put the car back together cause said parts were no longer forsale. Then bought the same parts cheaper somewhere else, and now have to take the car apart again?!??

Here let me raise this for you.

Edit: This reminds me of the guy that "sold" that hatch for 1,500

Default Yes bright boy

And I am actually ahead because I saved more money with the other parts. And as far as what you think with your Iroc clone with the ground effects that never came on Irocs I could care less.
