Thumbs up Got to drive a Ford Edge last night!

My fiance's work rented one for a business associate of hers, and she joined us for dinner last night. So I got to rock the rental

It was an '08, Silver, with tan/beige cloth interior, and a 6 cylinder / auto, and just under 14k miles. That thing was niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice! It drove smooth as a baby's bottom, and feels like it had enough ass (read: power) to be able to get on down the road a piece. Even think it'd be able to pull Frankie behind it Even with the cloth interior, the car felt "rich" - whereas sometimes a cloth interior can really make a car feel/look cheap... Not the case.

The pastor at our church owned a Ford Dealership, and said he could get us one for cheap. But we hadn't driven one yet... I think I'm going to have to look into that offer now though That things pretty sexeh!!

I'd probably get one of three colors - Black, White, Silver (maybe even the Charcoal Grey)... Throw some D's on dat bish, and tint the windows... Mmm Mmm Good!! Here's a few cool Edge's:

Haaaaa my mini van did some voodoo on you yesterday! But that isn't close to being a "real" mini van so you'll be ok.

You guys are homos. Never once did I say ish about it being a kid hauler!! It'd be a FRANKIE HAULER!! But no chitlens for a little while (crosses fingers).

The Edge is really a nice whip. I'm going to get an Edge and an SVT Focus. When we figure out where we're buying a home (Springhill or Citrus Park) - we'll decide who gets to drive which one Whoever has the longer drive will get the Focii, and then the Edge will be used for the shorter drive and hauling the car to/from BMP and SunShine

may want to re-think the frankie hauler idea....... towing cap.= 3500 lbs..

Ford Vehicles: Get Specifications for crossovers, like the Ford Edge, here

I rented one just over a year ago when I went up to Bennett (Haleyville Alabama - North West of Birmingham) to pick up my motor. It drove very nice up there and back even with the motor stowed in the rear.

My wifey loves her Edge, we take it when we go out. In 07 it was one of the highest powa crossovers on the market. She got the blueish/silver (1st pic posted) with tan leather.
When I first met her she had a new Civic and wanted a larger vehicle and we got an Expedition. I had a F-250 and they both wouldnt fit in the driveway with enough room to get out or in so we went to downsize and she got the Edge and I dot a 150....Im looking to downsize again because of the mileage on my truck. I dont think I can live without a full size truck though, Im always towing something

I don't think Frankie w/the trailer would exceed 3500 lbs
