John, it used to leave like a Pro Stock. it is a Pro Stock. LOL There's just something going on in the rear and Stroupe can sort all that out. We've moved the 4 link, moved the wheelie bars, changed the ride height.

91Notch, I only had about $8k in the car I just posted. And it was just a wittle .030 over 460!

It was to me, too. That's why I had to part it out when it blew up. There was no way I was dumping that much back into it. I worked 60 hour weeks @ $5.75 an hour in a friggin warehouse to build that car.

Not to mention it took like 6-8 months to build it..buying a piece here and there and me and Donald doing all the work.

oh shit i didnt see the 460 part. if you build another one you gotta keep it 302 base so us little guys can be half ass'd competitive though.

No worries. A 302 would kill a 460 with no piston to valve clearance.

ah chit that blows. did it do it right off the bat at idle, or was it a little high rpm BDDDDDDDATTT!! either way it makes for a bad day and an empty bottle of Crown that night if that happens to this motor or anything else catastrophic of the sort, i got a 351 bored and balanced sitting in the corner just itching to be put back in the game.
