After all the bullshit I went through with that AOD.... Fuck yea! I made no changes to the car from last Wednesday and the car pick up 2 MPH last night I've been having some traction problems on the spray but she seamed to hook last night and shot straight down the track

Carbs Suck

 

I run a carb on my 67, and F/I on my 95. I prefer the carb set up. Easier to diagnose problems if they happen, and cheaper to fix when they do.

If they still bracket race on Friday night I might run... off the spray my car is deadly consistent.

 

Do the probe make a clean hit on the motor? Did you guys try dropping the bars a little to tame the car on the motor? Im guessing on the spray it carrys the car and unloads slower but on the motor not to much.

When we switched from the Hemi to the chevy in the chassi car it was being a whore like that too. way lighter on the front end ( It came UP 3 inches!. we dropped the front end back down a couple turns at a time and also dropped the bars an inch and shes back to riding them straight out of the gate.

 

i saw you guys at the line when the stang took the bust run. Defiantly did not look like love was in the air. you need to start putting together a street/strip coupe and come hang out with the budget racers to relieve stress every once in a while. we are laid back and do nothing but shit talkin for funzies. hell i bet that golf cart of yours could even yoke the tires off the ground. that thing has more ballz then my lil truck
