Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.
Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:
'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT. I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians.'
'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'
'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society. Learn the language!'
'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.'
'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, American citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

I also like most of it.
I am from an Irish/German heritage, many generations back. My family is American to the bone. I am ex Navy. I dont care if you are green, purple or white. I will treat you as good/bad as you treat me. Trash doesn"t know a color, hench the n word can apply to anyone.
I was born and raised in SC. I have seen the bad side of racism. I have family I dont talk to. Hell my grand father ran the Anderson county farm for 32 years. 40's to the 70's, They used chain gang labor. Enough said. I spent my weekends there alot. I learned and saw alot, good and bad. If you do the crime, you gonna do the time.
I do not own a 4X4 or a rebel flag. but I am proud to be an American and a from South Carolina.

I have traced my lineage back quite a way. I have no black blood in me, but I DO have cherokee blood in me on my fathers side. With that said, I try not to be racist....However, I AM proud of my white herritage. I am also proud of my indian herritage. I don't, however, feel the need to shout it from the mountain top so to speak. I simply pass on the knowledge to my children so they, too, can be proud of their herritage.
I still feel the same way as the Aussie speaker does. This country was conquered by the white man. Deal with it. As the conquerer, we get to set the rules. We have been nice enough to allow indians their own "tax free" lands and such. We have also allowed them to have their reservations and casinos. That is far more than other conquering "tribes" would have allowed back in the days before the white man came.
Mexicans have been silently invading this land for some time and flying low under the radar. They are quickly becoming the new conquering force. If we don't speak up now and kick them back where they came from, then we will have no choice but to accept their rules...which will include changing the popularly known language of English to the popularly known language of Spanish. Blacks are quickly becoming the majority though and we may have a fight for a national language of swahilli (sp) or some other african dialect and spanish.
I will continue to speak english though.

i'm proud of who i am. if i was black,green,grey,yellow,etc i'd still be proud.
what i am tired of is all the political correctness, fuck that. we( the UNITED STATES ) should not have to bow down to all the people coming into this country. if they want to live here, fine, but they should have to speak english when they are dealing with anything in public. speak whatever in private conversation or at home. i'm sick of press 1 for english 2 for spanish. i'm sick of going to the atm and having to choose english or spanish. i'm sick of outsourcing. i want to talk to an english speaking person on the help line.
as was said before there should be no hyphenated nationalities. your either an american or not. want to be an african,mexican,whatever go back to the motherland.
