Default Lincoln LS

Does anyone have any insight to these cars? I am looking at buying one for back and forth travel to work. If anyone has any positives or negatives, I'd be interested in finding more out about it. Scott, if you catch this, werent you thinking about one before you bought your M45?

this is my 2002 LS i love the car it is only v6 but it has plenty of power (221hp) ive heard that the v8 LS's are always breaking transmissions so it kinda scarred me from a v8 plus i had a 2000 mustang GT before this car handling wise the car i would say handles excellent not really any body roll and somewhat sporty also it stops pretty well you would never know you were drivin such a big car overall i would give this car a 9 out of 10 so far but i only have 34,000 miles so dont take my word for it

I'm surprised you were able to get out the store with that big "SUCKER" sign affixed to your back.

I found an 05 with 12,000 miles on it, and it is a V8. So I wonder. All the V6's I have seen do have a massive amount of miles on them too.

Scott loved the one he had. It was a v8 and the only thing I can remember was an issue with the rear end. The car was slick and had pickup was great. He was looking for a 03 SE model when he bought the M45.

After riding in his car, I bought a v6 model. It had a nice ride, but it also had 100k + on it. In the first month I had it, the steering rack when out and cost me like $700 to replace it. The next month I had to do a tune up and coil packs were expensive on it. Then I had some other problems, so it just wasn't dependable. I liked the car, but just couldn't deal with not knowing if it was going to get me to work. After I got everything fixed, I sold it before anything else went wrong. The kid that bought it called me a few months later and told me it was the best car he ever bought....
