Anyways, I had a good time. I'm not sure all of the guys driving did.... I seen so many guys loose traction on the big end today. I think it was the strong cross wind, but it might have been some other debris blowing on the track too. I am not sure what class this was, but I think it was Outlaw. He was lined up on the Budwiser side. The guy on the Tower side got sideways, straightened up, got back in it, and got sideways again. After he got out of it, I looked at the Budwiser side and watched this car go backwards into the wall....

 

Since I'm stuck at work all this weekend, Ive been on the phone with Archie all weekend on how he is doing, and he told me about the car above that crashed, He wasn't joking around when he said the hold car is gone..

The driver is ok as i was told

 

Yea, he looked fine walking back to his pit. He was shook up though and I understand why!!!

Archie's car looked good, but he appeared to pedal it too. I think he was having the same issues with traction.

 

I was there and had a great time.
So windy I couldnt put the hood up on the maverick at carshow.

looked for chad/cory then remembered they were out fixing car

 

This is what I'm told by him, that is crazy windy at the track and right after you get past the last set of bleachers the wind is blowing right across the track,.

First round the wind almost took him into the wall.....I just got off the phone with him about 15 minutes ago,

Third round --- 8.202 178.96

Not to bad for a 347 with off the shelf piston and rods

 

I saw Chad there this afternoon.
The wind was terrible today

 

Had a good time today. It's nice to be finally driving my car. Who's going out there tomorrow? I'll be entering my car in the car show so I can get a closer parking space.

It was a good time, that jet car was freakin nutz, I had to hold my ears on that one, never thought they could be that loud!! I got sun and wind burn on my face like crazy!!! But all in all it was fun and great seeing alot of faces....

It was crazy windy and I was cold as shit. Thanks for the update on the driver, OldMan. I saw the crash but I hadn't heard anything more than what the announcer said about him communicating with the track officials down track just after the wreck.

All in all I had a blast.
