So basically, they can legally "steal" your car, then use it to bait other people into racing so they can steal more cars.

Sounds more like organized crime than "to protect and serve".

I am usually on the police side of arguements, but when he said he enjoys driving something that another person poured their time/money and soul into...I just lost alot of respect for cops.

Ok so street racing is illegal... So is alot of other things in this world. No crime in this country that i know of comes with a fine that you have to give up something you own. Besides your freedom or money.

Yea but its common sense that if u street race ur car gets impounded but if I'm wrong correct me? Thats wat I've been told. But I'm sure it would suck ass to lose either of those cars to that reason but those two cars might have been caught street racing before and given warnings. Yes it sucks but like I said before if u know they'll take ur shit just don't race on the streets easy as that!
