Wow, Well worst case scenario, you will have to sell your toys. I think we all have done it at least once or twice. Hell I remember having my son 7 years ago, I sold everything I had except for my coupe roller. Sucked ass. But it was well worth it. Good luck to you Josh, you definetely sound like your heading in the right direction. Also if you are going for your degree, dont worry about what your major is in. I majored in Computer Engineering, and yet I am a Production Supervisor for a Pharmaceutical Plant. They say only about 16% of people who recieve there undergrad are actually doing what they went to school for. All that matters is that you have that pedigree.

 

Congrats man. We are never "completely" prepared for parenthood no matter WHEN it rears its head. Just keep your nose to the grind stone, and you'll be fine. I don't care if you have a million dolars in the bank when your woman gets pregnant. There will be things that you are not prepared for. Just remember to remain calm and you will be able to weather the storm called "parenthood".

If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? (I'm too lazy to look at your profile. LMAO) if you're young, then just think about it this way, when your kids move out (if you raise them that way), you'll still be young enough to have a good time. If you're in the older sector (in your late 30's to upper 40's) then you already had a good run of fun and this is the finishing moments for you. LOL Personally, my wife and I had kids young. Our oldest is 16 now, and I'm just 37. Our youngest is 10. Just another 8 or 9 more years, and I get my house back! LOL

 

What price range are you looking for and where? I'm sure she's not the only one but I have a neighbor who is in deep trouble with her house in Largo. It's a nice little 3/2 with a screened pool. She's about to let it get repopped so there is probably some room to wheel and deal to get her out from under it.

And congrats. It's little things like this that can change all your plans, but you'll get through it and come out on top. You've got the right attitude all the way around.

 

josh thats what makes you a MAN and not a fin punk! there are too many people out there that says i need a job but i will not do that ! i am thankful for gods graces to let me have a biz to support my family! if the biz went a way tomorrow , i would dig ditches or what ever it took to provide for my family!


now for the pregnant thing CONGRATZ !!!!

IF you took a pole to see how many people where ready (money , house, ect) for a child when they found out they were pregnant .
you would see that there are not many people are ready for it to happen!

everything will work out , if you guys were not ready for it god would not have put this on your plate right now! you will look back at this and say man i stressing over those little things !

the only worry you should have now is for a healthy baby and i hope the baby gets the mothers looks and not yours!!! lol jk

i would take the "god" part out of the equation. you had sex with a woman who became pregnant. GOD didn't. a baby is also not a curveball, it is a human being and should be treated like one. if you throw it, it's probably a bad thing.
