Go to physical therapy. Once you start going to a chiropractor, you have to keep going for life for "adjustments". I have a herniated disc in my lower back (L4-L5) and don't go to a chiropractor ever. I went to one once before about 12 years ago, and it didn't help at all. He kept putting some little hammer thing on my back and clicking it. Then he felt my back and said I was just fine. I told him "Thats funny, it still hurts". He said that he couldnt do anymore because my insurance would only pay for 2 weeks. WTF? Shyster! I went to PT, and they taught me how to relieve the pressure on the disc in question, as well as a few exercises to strengthen my back in that region so that disc would slip less. After that, anytime I have had a back problem, I go to a physical therapist.

I'm sure there are some chiropracters out there who AREN't thieves, but it's too hard to detirmine, and most of them will even tell you thatyou have to keep coming back for "periodic adjustments" for the rest of your life. Thats a crock IMO. No offense to you. If you like chiropractors, then keep going to them. I hope it works well for you. It just didn't for me.

i dont care who i go to as long as it helps. i have had back problems for a while and its just getting worse.

Go see my wife. She's a massage therapist and is great. She's been able to fix a lot of my problems that doctors and craka-practors couldn't. A lot of the times, back pain is because of soft tissue problems, not bones. Cracka-practors can't do anything for soft tissue. When muscles are tight and knotted up, they can put pressure on your joints and pull things out of whack. If somebody just pops it back into place, the muscles will just pull it back out again. Gotta fix the muscles. Been lifting anything heavy?

She's worked on a lot of pro football and baseball players and fixed them right up. (plus she's better looking than your bone cracker)

Yeah..depends on the cause of your pain. Mine is, my entire spine is crooked. Like, each vertebrae is cocked sideways. Anyway, I go to chiropractor, but mine's in Brandon, so that's no help. LOL
