My advise would be to sit down and have a serious discussion with your parents and if available your grandparents. Ask them thier opinions on differant issues. The older generations are extremely helpfull when it comes to politics. But as always make your decisions based on what you want for your future and your possible childrens future. I personally have always been one for a strong defense (former Military) and a safe and peaceful future for my daughter.

As far as the 9-11 controversy goes. All the theories about the Goverment being involved, have been proven wrong. Common sense prevailed...........

Well I tried talkin to my mom and told her well I watched that video and she flipped on sayin it was un true propaganda and crap like that. We got into an argument cuz she stays on me about not voting and always wants to tell me about bein a republican but once I come to her with questions and say something about this video she freaks. I wanted her to watch it and help me either dis credit it or explain wat I didn't understand but she said she doesn't believe in that stuff so she won't watch it but yet she expects me to listen to her side when she can't listen to mine! Whatever!

Oldman hit it on the head.

If someone took the time to make a movie about it, USUALLY its because they are trying to convince you to believe what they believe. Not any different than your mom pushing republican on you.

The best advice, IMO: Free thinking. Look at the big picture, realize that there are some crazy people out there, and some smart ones too. Do your best to make up YOUR OWN MIND about whats REALLY going on around you.

Sounds like your mom has the right idea.

Loose change = tin hats of America. Odd it's been debunked and yet they remake it again to give themselves some creditability.

I turn 32 shortly. I've been a republican all my life. Why might you ask, because I agreed with the views of those who I voted for. So far they have done a great job.

I'm sure you can say blah blah blah Bush did this, Bush did that. Would there be so much negative press against the current administration if the Democrats did not want in office? What would a Democrat had done in office?

For future reference, Ford tech slants farther to the right than my dick, and thats pretty far to the right.

But loose change is a joke, and they'be been pretty much proven wrong many times - but mindless potheads and bored conspiracy therorists continue to believe it. Don't take what they've saying with much credibility. Check out TF for some insight into the whole 9/11 thing and how much of a joke these therories are.

Moveon.org, Loose Change, Fox News, all these things suck if you want UNBIASED coverage...but if you can sort through their 10 layers of bullshit there are small chunks of factual information in some of them. Just always make sure you hear both sides of the story before forming an opinion on it.

And again, stay away from Fox news.

Oh, and graves - the Republicans are doing an absolutely shitty job at running this country. They've strayed from all of the classical conservative ideals which I don't find too bad, and turned into some neo-con-Oh dear god. I almost said it. I'm done typing.

Oh I agree. Right now politics is about the same as grudge matches in the WWE.

I say im a independent just so I can attempt to stay open minded but almost all the time I tend to agree with republican views. Now im only 19 and many will say that i don’t know much, but I watch more news and more whats going on politically then many people out there, but those are the same people who think they know everything but don’t know poop.I have always said and still say I would much rather have W in office in this time period then Kerry, especially during 911. At least your doing the responsible thing and actually looking into things. Many kids our age just stay at home a smoke pot and don’t vote. But then when a issue comes up in the government that they don’t like they bitch so go figure. Either way you go your doing the right thing. Just my opinion.

BTW those theories are bullshit. If you fly a plane into a building that had just been filled with jet fuel...bad shit is going to happen. My whole family and I are from NY. My dad worked in NYC for 25 years and in the WTC including 1 and 2 for like seven years. My dad and uncle who was NYPD at the time (who we didnt know if he was died for a few days because we thought he was in the towers) both get so pissed off when the hear crap like the government did it.

Honestly thought, you need to do more than watch one movie. Remember that movies are made to convey a message and who knows if that message is skewed or misrepresented to make the movie more entertaining. Otherwise, how could they make any money? How do you know that what the person is trying to say is factual or not? (and to clarify, I did not watch the movie). You can watch 20 movies about 9/11 and each person can blame someone different. Will we really know what happened? Will we ever have the same level of information as the US Government? I am sure everyone can point out something that someone does wrong, after all it happens every day on Sports Center! If you really want to find things out, read, read, read, and read more. Only you can make the best decision for you! The best way to make your right decision is to be informed with as much of the facts as possible. Read articles from both sides and try to make up your own mind. You will find that people are blind on both sides and trying to get the whole truth will always be up to the interpretation of the person writing the story. You do have the ability to make a difference, but it is NOT an easy decision. Then after you make your decision, don't be surprised if it is wrong. Just take what you learned and apply it to the next one....

Good Luck
