is anyone going to BMP? myself and a friend with an 04 cobra are heading out there around 6ish.

it was OK. i saw scotts car make one pass. there was a bigswingingdick AMG 4 door with HREs on the back with either a DR or ETstreet. it also had spray on it. it sucks as though i never saw how fast it ran but i would think in the low elevens.

i went out with new nitto DRs but with my new posi clutches everytime i tried to do a burnout my car kicked IMMEDIATELY to one side. i think i have a bushing out in the rear somewhere. since the burnout sucked the best sixty i could get was 1.87 which is a tenth and a half slower than my best. it ran only a 12.11 a few times.

i also tried to spray the car on the last pass. either i havent filled the bottle up since my last time spraying the car or i have huffed way too much of it lately the cold weather did not help the pressure either. it only picked up 7 MPH in the eighth (it picked up 11MPH the last time) and only picked up 6 MPH in the 1/4 i weighed the bottle tonight and it only has 3 LBS in it. whoops.

on a good note we bumped into an old friend from our street racing days. he now drives an 08 Z06. myself and Earl who has an 04 cobra raced him. earl left a little red the first time, the second time he blew the tires of and lost by a car or so. the cobra ran 12.30s @ 115 all night, the Z never said what he was running but i think it was 12.30s about 120. i raced the chevy and put it on him pretty good. i cut a .074 light and never looked back. in all fairness the vette had a bunch more MPH and couldnt 60 since he was on stock tires. a win is a win, although he still has a Z06 and i still drive a fox
