fuck arod...atleast we don't need to go crazy losing our starting rotation.......I honestly like Lowell...he's a class act guy. THAT may be the only reason he stays in Boston, besides the fact he may not be interested in playing first base. I'm all for trying to sign Lowell....game on.

I say if this happens, The Bosox will pursue Mariano Rivera spitefully.

yeah...he's old.....4 years younger than Schilling. This is Mariano's last 4 years contract. And do you mean Clemens? he sucked for the yanks last year.

^^Rivera, yeah sign him, the Sox eat him up. I dont worry when he comes in any more like I used too. Shilling can still hold his own. Its funny, my wife is from the Manhattan and a die hard Yankees fan and I love talking baseball with her and her family....good times.

...unless I completely misread the guy, Lowell isn't the "all about me" POS Damon is and doesn't sign with the Yanks. Am I 100% sure...no, but that's my gut. As far as A-rod - I could not be happier he had to grovel his way back to d-bag Steinbrenner and sons throwing his agent under the bus to save face. A) Every Yankee fan I know has done nothing but talk trash about him for the past 2 weeks and now all are amusingly making that u-turn back to loving him...for a third time, and B) he's good for 40-50+ relatively meaningless, hope inspiring home runs until he gets to the post season when he's going to choke year after year...I couldn't be happier he's a Yankee.

ahhh I love baseball...
