Default What's this home theater stuff worth?

With the new baby here I'm getting a whole lot less use out of the whole system I've build up over the years and am seriously contemplating selling the whole thing, getting a smaller plasma or LCD, and calling it a day. In addition we're going with hardwood floors here soon and I really don't have the patience to wire the speakers through the ceiling/walls. Only issue is that I've bought it bit by bit so I'm not sure what a fair asking price for the whole thing would be...not really the kind of thing you can really throw on Ebay either.

Sony 57" (or maybe 59...i forgot) projection 1080i HDTV (professionally serviced/calibrated this year, maybe 2 - 2.5 years old)

Sony home theater reciever

Sony 200 disc changer

Random cheaper DVD player

Complete speaker setup - right and left channel towers, good center channel, good surrounds, and a powered sub - all JBL and not their cheap stuff

Monster Wire speaker/sub cable, HDMI cable, optical cables for audio, surge protector for all...the whole deal.

Any educated guesses would be appreciated

How are you measuring that TV? They only made those in 50, 55 or 60 as far as I know....remember, it is measured diagonally....

And on the receiver, it would depend on the specs...

Best bet would be to go to ebay, search for your model numbers and see what the stuff is selling for...

...I got off my lazy ass and looked more closely. It's a 57" widescreen (KP57WS520) manufactured at the end of '04, bought by me mid '05. The reciever is a Sony STR-DE835 Dolby Digital 5.1 100W per channel, surrounds and center are JLB Northridge Series, towers are JBL HLS820. No dice on the Ebay deal either...I tried

...I actually bought it mid '05 - production date on the back is Nov '04. It's a regular projection hi-scan hdtv. hoping to sell at least the tv before the decent sales start around the holidays/super bowl. might keep the audio stuff if it really isn't worth anything - sounds awesome.
