Turbo, does that stingray guy bother anybody? I can't remember what I read about them, but I remember thinking it wouldn't work with what I've got..either my fish or my plants..not sure.

I had an aggressive tank, I had a pair of tiger Oscars or something that were the same size and they were pretty cool - got along for the most part. I put in some kind of Albino Ciclid or Oscar or something and they messed him up, though.

Goddamn racist colored fish.

Best I ever saw though was some Beta get rammed across a fishtank by a sharkfish it puffed up to. I swear, if I had a videocamera on that it would've been captioned and sigged. It was like a royal bitchslap.

Fish World on Waters has some big ass oscars and jacks. Gorgeous! They have some MASSIVE red bellied Pacu's, too.

 

i really like jacks and cichlids in general, but they're too mean for my tank.


he doesn't bother anyone at all. he's a bottom feeder. the only pain in the ass with them is that you have to feed them live food. ghost shrimp have turned out to be the best option. it's expensive though. all the fish in the tank will go after them too, so we end up going through a ton of them... and they're not cheap.
