Title question
Looking at a car with a lost title. The current owner has said the car has been sitting for a couple years and he can't seem to find the title.
Does anyone have experience with this, I'm sure if he was the last registered owner he could request for a lost title right? What if he's not though. Just wondering if its gonna be worth the shit to go through. Were talking about a 86 less than a thousand bucks.

There are ways to get a title without the registared owner being there but if he was the last you can get a duplicate for $10 on the spot in most DMV's
