im a noob and i need help on my sig

hey, im new 2 da site and i need 2 kno, 2 get a pic in the signature, do i need 2 upload it into the gallery first, and if so, where do i need 2 go 2 upload it?

ok now i know you have to upload the picture into the gallery but how? I dont see any way to upload it. Am i missing something?
