Default Midwest to East Coast

Hey! I'm Casi (like Cassie...). I'm 23, about to turn 24 next month. I currently live in Springfield, MO, but I'm looking to head out to Tampa around April or May or so (or at least I'm hoping). I'm in Tampa all the time as it is, I may as well just move there, so that's what I'm hoping to do soon.

A little about: My life revolves around traveling and cars. I love photography, amusements parks and baseball.

I currently drive an '04 350Zed Touring. She's been my baby for the past four years, but I'm sadly getting rid of her here shortly. By the time I actually get down that way, I won't have her anymore. I'm not too sure what I'll be getting into after her, but only time will tell.

Anyway, the Zed is basically stock. She's on aftermarket 19" ASA JH9s, 5% tint on quarter windows and hatch and 18% on fronts.. smaller antenna and other than that.. everything else is just as she came from the factory. Nothing special, but she's fun.

Just checking this place out to see what I can get myself into, meet some new people and whatnot. I only know a hand full of people in the Tampa area right now.. most of my current friends in Florida are more down South, so I'd love to be able to come out and be able to meet some new people soon after I get there!

I hate winter time. That's one major reason why I'm moving to Florida. I cannot stand the cold.. I'd move down in a heartbeat if I didn't have a responsibility to maintain my current employment.

Good. I was gonna try to look for something last week when I was down, but I didn't have enough time. I'll have one day down there in a couple weeks when I'm not doing anything, so I'll probably look around and see what I can find.

And yeah.. it was perfect last week.. 70s throughout the entire time.. back here... it was like 4. It was 0 when I came back.... I hate it. Can't wait to get down there though!

Make sure to check out the Photography and Graphics section. There are some very skilled photogs here putting out some great work.

Awesome.. thanks for the welcome! I'm definitely looking forward to getting down that way for good. I don't know that it'll happen when I want it to in the next few months, but I'm definitely shooting for this year.. if not beginning of next year. I'm always in the area, so I thought it'd be nice to get to know some people and maybe meet up sometime if I'm in the area around any meets. =]

I've been browsing the site.. definitely some awesome photogs on here!

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
