Hey, guys...just thought I'd drop in and post my "introduction". I'm not exactly from Tampa, let alone FL...although its been my life long dream to live in the land of beaches and sun (for the most part 
) My friend and I do, however, drive down to tampa every year to pick up his son, and then drive down to Miami to see my daughter. I really love the Tampa/Clearwater area!
Anyway, I'm in the USAF stationed in Rapid City, South Dakota. Just thought I'd swing in and say hey! One of these day's I'll be in the area

Awesome, yeah my buddy is actually from Portland, TN We usually drive through there, stay for a bit, then head down to FL, and back up.

Ahh, i see...i just saw on the left that it said you drove a 91 240sx. Sorry bout that! Can't say I blame you for changing...they can be pretty high-maintenance cars lol
And I totally agree about the Tampa area...I'd love to make it down there..just dont think I could afford to live there though haha...I'd have to find 2 roomates or something

shit, these two vw's of mine are worse then every other 240 i've owned (five of them). i'm planning on attempting the move back to tampa, but for some reason maine seems like it's calling me more.

I have heard of such beaches but rarely do I see them and I live here
However I do see a lot of sun on weekends due to attending a lot of autox events

Welcome to the site man,maybe next time you guys drive down you can stop by some meet up spots if its on the weekend, just give us a heads up and well point you in the direction of the cars
