New Guy Here
Hello everyone. I am new to this site but not to the racing world. I am a master mechanic and shop forman for a import dealership in Brandon. My racing background is older GM but I am looking to build a Honda Hatch. I have been browsing this site and I like what I see as far as tech help and members.
welcome to TR. what type of racing are you planning on doing with the hatch?

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I am not really sure yet. I like the road courses and drag racing. I have alot of friends with Honda's and Teggy's that drag race. I am keeping my options open and doing my research..LOL
should you decide to get into road courses join up with the SCCA for your region. I go to the monthly meetings here in Tampa. Fun group of guys that truely do race on a budget.
