If we can say that daytime running lights make a car more visible and therefore a safer vehicle in the daytime, we might extend that to a light under the car making it more visible at night also makes it a safer vehicle .

If the cops see the actual bulb and if it is red or blue, they want to write a ticket, since red/blue lights are allowed only on emergency/police vehicles. Make your baffles and tuck the lights, so the bulb cannot be seen. I have even put in kill switches for some peoples' lights.

If you get stopped, don't try to change his mind/argue with him, look up case law/test cases in the county law library.........you might do your research *before* you get the lights.

If too lazy to research, stick your butt out to get it kicked. -Bob
