Thread Supbscriptions allow users to keep track of a thread(s) that they are interested in by receiving an email whenever there is a new reply made. There are two ways to Subscribe to threads: by default or one at a time.

Default Thread Subscriptions:

Step 1: Go to your User CP (Control Panel) and select Edit Option.

Step 2: Click Yes on the option for Use Email Notification by Default



Step 3: Click the Submit Modifications button on the bottom of the page.

You will now receive an email whenever someone replies to a thread that you have posted in. After you receive an email you will not get another one until you read the thread.

Subscribing to a Thread one at a time:

When starting a thread or making a reply you can opt to Subscribe to it. This way you only receive an email for threads that you want to keep an eye on instead of all threads you take part in.

Step 1: When starting or making a reply click the Email Notification Option.



Step 2: Click the Submit New Thread/Submit Reply button.

You will now receive emails for only this thread as people respond.
