Hey guys, after lookin' through the forums for a while thanks to some links a few friends sent me who're on the list I finally registered. I drive a '97 Taurus SHO that's good for ~245hp after a few mods I've got. (Clint, you know who I am.... lol)

 

Hola. Is a 97 a second gen sho? The second gens came with a V8 and automatic transmission, right? I can't remember what displacement, though.

 

Ford considered it the 2nd generation, but within the SHO community it's the 3rd. The 92 Body had subtle SHO unique facia changes and the car itself got about 3" longer. You are correct about the V8/Auto. The displacement is 3.4L
