Artomobilia and IMS Museum Postpone Inaugural Revolanté

by Cyndi Paceley Indianapolis, IN – A new event within the Carmel, Indiana Aug. 28-30 Artomobilia weekend — designed to benefit the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum — will not take place in 2020, the museum announced Wednesday (July 29).
Photo: ArtomobiliaThe City of Carmel decided to cancel all Artomobilia weekend activities in downtown Carmel, including the inaugural “Revolanté: A Celebration of Revolutionary Automobiles.” Set to debut Aug. 30, Revolanté would have featured approximately 100 high-end classic cars ranging from pre-war models to mid-century Indianapolis 500 winners to 1960s muscle and sports cars, plus late-20th century supercars, on display at The Bridgewater Club in Carmel.

All ticket sales were to directly benefit the IMS Museum’s educational and exhibit programming and restoration efforts. The museum, a public non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Revolanté is now scheduled for Aug. 29, 2021.

With Artomobilia events canceled, Event Director John Leonard and his team will now host a “Lemonade 10000” road rally — a 77-mile journey through the bucolic scenery and winding backroads of Indiana’s Hamilton, Madison and Boone counties — on Saturday, Aug. 29. Get more info or register your car
