FYI…The Keystone Family Fun Day will return to Keystone Recreation Center, on Saturday October 26.

The Keystone Motor Club is invited and welcome to attend this event, as you have done each year. The event will be 10:00am – 3:00pm, but cars can arrive at any time after 8:00am. This is a free car show for all makes & models.

Hi,
I am doing a Charity Gala to celebrate O'Maddy's 30th Anniversary. The event, "A Night in Havana" (please see attached) is November 23rd, 2019 at the Gulfport Casino. I am trying to get some classic cars to be on display at the entrance to the event.

Please advise if you have any interest and, if so, what I need to do to proceed.

The Keystone Civic Association sells 2 dollar hotdogs, chips and soda at the event to raise money. The American Legion also sells food. I think we should support the event.

A very different and fun idea for Trophys at Keystone Civic Association's Family Fund Day:
Here is a way to give everyone a fair chance at a trophy....since we are not collecting money for entry fees.
1.Everyone shows up with any kind of washed car, no matter whether street car or show car.
2.To equalize the differences between types and classes of car, each member/participant gets a ticket.
3.At the end of the day someone draws a random ticket, and that ticket wins the trophy.
4.End result is: the club supports KCA. We will have more cars with a car for each person who wants to show his car, without beating ourselves to death prepping it.
We "award" a trophy with the most simple method possible, no voting, no person being put on the spot
to choose, no disagreements, and without even the appearance of favoritism. It is suggested that Bob Vail
disqualify himself from winning and draw the ticket. (take That, Bob!)

So the question is/are:
As a Keystone member, what do you think of this idea?
What should the trophy say? "Best of show? lol

Hi everyone!
So I live in Odessa but I work in sales at Dimmitt Chevrolet. I wanted to know if anyone wanted me to bring any specific vehicle to the car shows? I wasn’t sure what type of vehicles come to this show. We have new and pre-owned vehicles so if there is anything out of the ordinary, besides a C8 Corvette which won’t be available until deliveries begin in January, I would have happy to bring it over to the show! Just let everyone know!

regarding Keystone Motor Club meeting originally scheduled for 10AM 19 October:

It is the consensus of those who emailed me that we will postpone the club meeting for a date to be determined.
Weather report and projected rain are the reasons.

It is my understanding that the Lake Mirror Classic in Lakeland will still be held, if members are looking for a substitute automotive activity.
