Pumpkin Festival at Horsepower Ranch

The Pumpkin Festival at Horsepower Ranch on October 30 was a huge success for the kids, the spectators, the vendors and most of all, the car & truck owners. I want to thank everyone who patiently waited during a brief registration line, although I tried my best to keep it at simple as possible.
Participant's choice, though controversial, is manageable for us, gets everyone involved and allows us to modify if necessary. This particular show had an unusual amount of trucks, therefore we made sure a certain amount of trophies went to that group. Our goal is to keep it fun and fair.
During registration I saw many new faces of whom I would have liked to have seen their cars, plus many familiar faces that I would have enjoyed visiting with. However, due to a fatal medical emergency I had to depart suddenly with my 50/50 helper (Shelly) in tow and my vote tallier (Steve) as well. But DJ Don and Holly picked up where we left off and the remainder of the afternoon was perfect. Congratulations to all the winners, a big thank you to everyone that attended and I look forward to seeing everyone at the Country Christmas show on December 18.
