It certainly got loud today at the start line for Gumball 3000, at Merrion Square in Dublin. As the Gumballers set out on their long journey to Bucharest, with thousands of people lining the streets to see them off..

Day 1 is here and the Gumball 3000 flag drops in Dublin with all the cars rolling out in fashion. Everyone put a great show for the crowd and here is a video of the best ones.

I check out what cars are taking part in this year's Gumball 3000 road trip, a day before the event kicks off in Merrion Square in Dublin. As it starts in Dublin for the first time, there was certainly a lot of excitement around town.

should have put a lift kit and higher seats in it. There is no side visibility. I'd be willing to bet 5 hours into the drive you'd get mad bored not being able to look at any scenery. Other than that, this car is bonkers and amazing and the engineer who built this to all fit together is amazing (apparently he worked 15 years at Koenigsegg). Good luck to 'em. I wonder what the acceleration and top speed in something like this would be. Lambo v10 with all the weird aerodynamics
