S14 Overfenders!??

Alright guys so this is the 240 im picking up tomorrow. yea i realise this is the drifting section but let me get there. Alright so as you can see the rear passanger 1/4 panel is a tad Fu$%D so im looking into getting some overfenders. not too sure if im feeling very confident on installing these bad boys. does anyone happen to know of anyone round orlando area who works with these??? Cuz i plan of getting into drifting here soon and have been doing quite a bit of reading up on them, and they seem to be great if you have a tedancy to slide into things -__-

1. That car looks like a ragged out shitbox that isn't worth buying
2. Don't drift anywhere that you might crash into something if you don't have the skill level yet
3. Over fenders are stupid amounts of easy to install. If you can work a rivet gun and drill, you can install them.

alright well for your number 1, i dont have a ton of money to throw down for a 6k perfect condition s14. so im getting what i can. has a completely rebuilt KA and just needs some body work. which im not worring about because i work at a body shop part time.... so unless you plan on buying me a better condition car LMK. its a drift car bud, shes not suposed to be beautiful....

I recall seeing that car for sale on florida drifters for $2k. For $2k you can buy a much better condition unmolested S13. And I can guarantee you an unmolested s13 will handle better, be cheaper to maintain, and won't fuck up on you. Don't be like every ZOMGJDMTYTE drifter kid and buy some ragged out piece of shit saying it's just going to be a drift car. That's retarded. If you cheap out now you're going to have to spend way more in the long run just to bring it up to par of an unmolested car. Trust me, or just go ahead and buy a shit box.
im picking it up for alot less than 2Gs my man, trading an old CB7 i have for it. like i said, its a drift car, its a project..... and if i wanted an auto s13 coupe i would buy one, but ive been wanting to build a S14 for a while now. figured someone was going to come around in typical TR fashion and start talking shit going nowhere with the questions i asked. but thank you for your educated response for the overfenders.

Start talking shit? It's called advice. I've been there and done that. I had a shitty jank ass s13 and I learned not to ever do that again. But go ahead, and I'm positive than in a year or two you'll understand what I said.
gonna have to agree with david on pretty much all of what he said.
it does look like a ragged out car. I'd really question the "rebuild" that was done on an engine that ended up in a car like that. Just because someone tore it down, and threw new bearings in it doesn't mean it was "rebuilt"
But, it is your money, buy the car you want to buy.
for the love of all things decent in this world, do not drift somewhere you are going to "slide into things" There are lots of great places to drift that don't involve hitting things.
If you work for a body shop to any degree, you shouldn't have to question your ability to install an over fender.
Yes, there are varied degrees of install quality, but if you are just trying to cover up some bashed up fenders so your crappy looking drift car doesn't look so crappy, then just slap those things on.
Hell, I've seen kids use tape and glue to get them on their drift car. It is just a crap drift car.

Something tells me he's not going to take the advice of 2 different people who both went through similar situations before.
i understand what you all are saying, but what i guess you all dont understand is i Want a Project car..... this would not be my daily car and as with the rebuild goes "(every gasket, bearings, pistons, seals, timing chains, sprockets, tensioners are new )
Cosmetic head gasket
Cams
Arp head studs
Megan racing tranny and motor mounts
Resurfaced flywheel
Spec stage 3 clutch
Isis fuel pump
Isis aluminum radiator
Rasta painted valve cover
Block and head were both taken to machine shops for cleaning and hoaning
Micro polished head and crank
Isis Dual electric fans
Headers
Down pipe
Test pipe
Stockish exhaust ( sounds good and quiet ) "
Never dealt with overfenders before, just seen them on a buddies car and considered it because that's a hell of alot of work to get that 1/4 straight.
