Default the amount of fail today at desoto...............

ok, im going to say this again. make sure your car is running properly and not a complete pile of shit before you go out and beat the piss out of it.

i know everyone's broke, but the shit i was seeing was just outrageous.. completely blown suspension bouncing so bad i thought it was a mexican with some hydraulics.. front tires so bad i wouldn't put them on crack heads cavalier.

people. lower is not better. half you would do better if you stopped worrying about how cool you or your cars don't look and instead tried to make it handle properly.

now i think a missing bumper is ok, but missing a whole front end??? last time i checked just missing a bumper made my car handle different. its an s13, shit is cheap and everywhere.....

people, instead of worrying about your wheel fitment, why not worry about putting some decent front tires on. somthing with a treadwear of 200 or less... single biggest handling improvement you can do to your car is tires, not coilovers, not slam it, not -15deg of camber. and then get an alignment!!!! before u can be consistent you have to make your car consistent.

and for the KA guys, much respect, but give the motor a fighting chance, change the oil, make it run right, and for god sakes put a real exhaust on it. the rasp has to go. my ka made 158rwhp/160rwtq and ran a 14.9. and sounded awesome. so don't tell me it can't be done.

this is pretty basic shit here. if anyone has any questions feel free to get in touch with me and i'll try and steer u in the right direction.

Ya, I'll be doing some more work to the Maniata this week before I drift with it again, thanks for the pointers.

i raised my car up 1 inch all around, alligned to -1.3 out back and -3 in front. zero toe in the back but my steering rack is fucked up and not centered so i am 1 degree off on my driver side. i have .5 turns to full lock more to the left. i also did 235-40s all around insted of stretching a 205-40 just to be lower. tires up front are too hard though, new rack and allignemt next followed by some nice front grippy tires.

car felt alot better than the previous events, still some work to do.

just thought id share
