drifting noob
It all depends on car setup (tire setup, power, diff )
(angle mods come later, unless your just buying a bunch of stuff out off the "zilvia:howtodrift" starter kit list.)
You said your car has an S15 SR motorset (so your already straight on power) make sure your car is running up to snuff and just go at it.
Also, Vlsds kinda suck, mostly because of age.
If it locks, cool.
but you'll be pressing easy button if you get a welded diff.
also S14s have astonishing fucking e-brakes, take advantage of it.
Go out to an event you'd be surprised on how much you'll learn in one day.

This guide should point you in the right direction. the one thing no one is bringing up in this thread is that you dont need a shit ton of power to drift, it just makes it easier and a little more fluid.
also, dont feel the need to impress anyone: go at your own pace, dont try to swing your balls out-suicide line because you saw it in D1 and dont know what your doing,
you'll wreck and we'll laugh at you.
Come to the event in Bradenton on the 18th, you'll meet a lot of people that are always down to help, may have a better understanding on this sport in FL
good luck

Sounds like you have a sweet S14 already.
Anyways, it's like Sean (4wheeldrift) said, just take everything at your own pace.
Maybe experiment with some clutch kicks, then try ripping the ebrake.
I'll see you out at Desoto on the 18th if you decide to come out.
