Thanks for the input guys!

The surprise time crunch forced me to get creative and jog things a little with the run groups so that trac time would be fair for everyone. This included things like pulling the guys with cages and suits out of E for half their run group so that the rest of E could run out their time and get the same number of runs a piece despite cutting the stinit shorter and just adding the caged cars back in for the tandem shits. F and G I had been shuffling people a bit to ensure everything stayed balanced. I know how it is firsthand to reg and pay for an event and for whatever reason get way fewer (or more) runs than someone else who did the same, so I try very hard to make sure that people are getting what they are hooping for.

I got some good suggestions about how to better work the rotation and announcement of run groups as well, which is something that we'll implement for the next one.

We managed to get one of our guys to do some fuel runs for those who were running on fumes, but there are plans for making the hot/cold course time seamless to the point were drivers shouldn't be abe to tell the difference and still be able to come and go essentially as they please.

Spectators vs pit crew is always a tough one. We can't really have a total free for all with everyone allowed into the pits, but at the same time since most of the people showing up to these events are people that we know as friends, it also doesn't seem fair to make them stand outside. Even as event coordinators, our "guest lists" so to speak can only cover so many people. The best solution we have at this point is to maintain driver +1 or 2 paid crew with everyone else who isn't critical to have as pit stay as spectator in a more controlled area.

Discrepencies with Trop security and Fire Marshall are just growing pains. They were doing exactly what they were told from their bosses, but as we progress our synthesis will get better and better.

Can't wait to see pics and video!

I also wanted to mention that there were several people that I saw improve vastly over the course of the day - Jen, Erika, Kelsey, Pedro, Marv, etc. There were some that went from just cruising through to sticking the entire course. Huge ups to you!

I think everyone can agree that the main problem was the restricted movements of cars, which is a pain but not a deal breaker.

Other than that I think everyone went extremely well and most everyone was happy about how things went.

This was by far one of the greatest events I've been too! Awesome group of people, awesome drivers, just an overall great event!

Huge thanks to Mr. Anlet for providing the media pass. I took close to around 2,000 or so shots. I've gone through them three times since yesterday and I have chosen around 100 or so that I'm uploading to my website. The pics are currently uploading and it will be about 30min before they are done and processed. As soon as they are done I will post up a few as well as the link to the rest of them.

You can see as the day went on drivers improving their skills. Good job everyone!
