I had a leaking rear caliper so I parked my car.
Today:
I drove it to get a caliper from lkq. No luck. Drove home and I seen steem coming from my hood. I stoped, opened the hood and seen coolant pissing out of a hose in the damn intake mani. What a bitch!
11:00pm
Thanks to a this guy matt who was parting out a s14, he had a caliper but he coulden't get the wheel off because the lug nut was stripped. After his friends failed attempt to weld a socket and then a bolt on the lug nut, matt told him to weld a big glob on the nut he ended up grinding the weld glob into a square shape. He couldn't get it with a vicegrip. So I then thought to put a socket on the glob and I then wrenched it off. After hours of tring stuff, $h!+ was done. Thanks Matt. Damn I need a welder.

I got home and changed the caliper. IDK why it took me 2 hours but it did.
I wanted to sleep but wanted to get the other $h!+ done more so from 3-7am I changed the damn hose.
Idk why I post stuff when I'm 90% asleep but here it is so now its your turn to make fun of how bad I spelled or tell me how bad I fail because it takes me 2 hours to change a damn brake caliper yet only 3 hours to pull my whole engine/trans.

install steering rack bushings yesterday
today install inner outer tie rods, tension rods, front lower control arms
tomorrow fix my seat rail that doesn't align with the hole.

finished the hard work last week, just a few things left now...
To do list:
cut and shorten outer tie rods or do knuckle mod
alignment
track down oil leak/ replace rear main seal
cut and extend clutch pedal arm
cut and change angle of shift lever
make and connect e-brake mount and lever
cut rear driver side door innerds out and pull the rest of the carpet
install harnesses
mount new front tires

last week i welded in my hydro brake and drilled the hole in the fire wall and ran the lines just not have hooked them up yet..
i also took my a/c stuff out from under my dash and taped up some wires took out my passanger air back and all the airbag wires and crap that is not important anymore.
on sunday i installed my new rack and ends becuase my new inners are not here yet.
monday i go to get an alignment at tire kinddom that is on 70 in bradenton becuase i know like4 ppl that work there i get there and there lift is broken soo i go to the one on 41 and the guy was kinda bitching about something and he told some kid to get my car and he did.. he atempts to get it on the lift but it gets stuck and he stalls it out... well then for some reason my car wouldint start soo all these dudes are freaking out and im trying to figure it out well then like 8 dudes come and try and push it off and it dont work.. i sugest useing the jack that is 3 ft away from us and jacking it up we do that and it gets it off the lift but my car wont start... and this not starting shit has never happend to me before besides a bad battery.. anyway i check everyyyyyyyyyythinggg im there for like 2 hrs and after like 393749173 times of randomly turning the key it kicks over and i just go home and on the way home i noticed my boost controler was off it had 0 power soo i start checking shit and then i grounded it to the chassis and it works fine..
yesterday (tuesday) i go to work blah blah get off come home and call tk and ask if the rack is fixed they hang up on me... i call the one on 41 and ask if i cna bring boards up they said no.. i call a few other places they all want like 70-100 for all 4 wheels and i just need 2 and i only have 20 bucks till friday becuase i just spend like 200 on shit to get my car 100% so i figured id try doing something measuring the old tierods and compare the measurement to the new ones and see how stright my sterring is or just put the old tierods on and go with that.. soo i load up 2 tires to put on for my fronts soo i can get my new tires mounted.. and then my trunk wont shut.. soo me and my roomate lee are sitting here for like 40 min trying to figure out wtf is going on with it lol and then we finally got it..
so i get in my car and then it wont start... then i just like get frusterated and go inside.. after chillin out i come back out and start it again it started making all sorts of crazy noises and then smoke came from under my dash and im like uhhhhhhh????????????? wtf?
soo i start checking shit pulling fuses and relays and smelling them and feeling if any wires are hot and turn the key and then my gagues light up and shut off and my boost controler stops working again and im like wtf.. soo i spend like 5 hrs looking and finding problems what it could be am i really retarted is my battery dead soo i get the power probe and hook it up and then sparks start shooting from my engine bay.. ( no i did not mix up the termnals lol) anyway i start fiddling around with my roomate and then we notice the battery cable is not grouned for some stupid ass reason soo we ground it and it fixed everyything my windows roll up better and shit... get my front tires off and loaded up to get mounded by a friend. end night
this morning im driving to work my boost controler is at 10psi at the on pos. well im going and i get on it and my car cuts out like im not burning fuel or something.. it did this before like only when i would drift going one way tho.. soo idk if im going to have the same issue??? but its werid.
i still dont have an aligment
still no ebrake
i need to get my exuast bolted up
check clearance for these new tires becuase i have a modded knuckle and last full auto i got new falkens and my frame chewed them up
no money for couplers or an aligment haha and im hungry.
ohh well 3 days to go hopefully magic will happen

I cut off the steering stops from the flcas of my old car and replaced the balljoints and bushings a couple weeks ago. Last Friday I spent from about 1030shared_pm until sunrise putting them on. Most of that time was spent after noticing that my coilovers weren't even when the swaybar didn't even come close to lining up with the brackets on the arms. Made the pleasant discovery that both of the collars I need to adjust height are frozen and won't budge. After getting nowhere trying to loosen the collars and realizing that I'd been up for close to 24 hours, I decided to give up and try again when I could think straight.
Got a new pair of tires for the rear to run the autox. The pair I've been driving on already ran out of life at the last event.
I planned to install new tie rods and toe rods, then get everything aligned, but need to fix the coilover heights first. The left side height is about 1/2" off from the right. I might just end up playing with the pre-load settings until the car drives straight as a gedderdun fix. Anybody have a surefire cure for frozen lock collars?

...bigass monkey wrench worked. Still had to brace myself against the fender and go at it rowing machine style. I think the only other things on my car that have taken that much force to loosen were all axle nuts.
