No, price is $199. $175 was for the earlybird people who registered in March.

Also, I've been working too much so I've been out of the loop - is there a drift event at CFRC the same day now? Because that's super convenient.

Plenty of spots left in drift...so far each drift driver is looking to get 120+ runs lol.

Is there anything to hit? I heard last time there was an occasional bump on the plastic guardrails. Somma you guys with zip ties all over may not care, but I don't want to tear up my bumper or quarters...
There were a few taps to non-filled water barriers. If you take it easy and work your way up during the day there's no reason anyone should be hitting any cones, barriers, etc.

Its really hard to hit anything, although its mostly advertised to people who already have seat time under their belt and wont spin out all day and have a bad time. It's not a contest so there is no pressure; Its just a workshop where you go out, drive, and learn new or attempt to perfect old techniques.
You're a great driver so I wouldn't expect you to feel uneasy.
Its a great way to get more consistent on higher speed stuff and not enter at school zone speeds, but at the same time being safe and in a relaxed environment. There is also a lot of drivers who will be more than happy giving you pointers or ride-alongs to figure out what to do, or not to do. Charlie rode along with me the first couple runs and realized I really needed to be in 3rd gear to get that first turn down.
check out the videos if you still aren't certain.

depends on if you want to just wing it, or get started in the right direction. FAM is a great event for any level driver because of the course and instructors, cfrc is a small practice event

You get what you pay for at both.

Contact me or "The Kyle" for media passes. Send your name, phone number, affiliation/website, and number/name(s) of assitant. We are going to be very adamant about photographers needing to have a spotter, so if you don't have someone in mind to do it for you let us know and we can provide someone.

Spectators allowed with a small fee.
