Yeah dude, you missed out..there's always next time.
Highlights:
Marshall got Rod knock... But did Okay overall, smokey entries but spun trying to link the 2nd corner.
Miles, Ben, Heffe Tandem (when I was changing tires) Miles passed Ben because he took a wide line. Fucking awesome
Dan's KA car w/ both Kei and Dan driving was an underdog but was very fun to watch (until he rubbed chassis harness)
Jen's welded diff turned open diff lol
Bill pissed some husband off for drifting around his wife...lol
Cosmo 3-rotor swapped FD equipped w/ T56 in the time attack..
Cool dude from 2JZ swap.com giving out dot4 racing brake fluid and coupons for stuff

event was fun, I personally felt off all day, but its how it goes sometimes. Heffe was throwing down the most cosistent runs, ben had some huge angle on a lot of the track, miles was looking good when his car was keeping up with the beating, and sean was doing pretty sweet also. but all you bitches better be killin it!
the novices out there and less experienced guys were doing very well for such a dodgy course (bumps/off camber). it wasnt easy at all for learning, but was safe enough to get silly on. I really enjoyed helping those I could and felt like uber noob when I took the wheel in the s2000 especially, but wasn't as bad as I expected- just gotta learn you cant go past 10* steering angle lol.
Everyone had a good time i think, and the event as a whole I thought went really smooth for having 2 style of courses and the other stuff/lunch was a gift from jesus. Only change Id say is make the 'drifting pits' near the track next time if possible. none of the drift drivers new how groups worked or when it was their turn for the first 1/2 of the day i think. but there was a bajillion runs made today, so they shouldnt worry.
good job caio/ranlet/rest of staff that put in the time to organize and set it up.
Meet n' Greet at TBGP was as much fun as the actual event.

here are two for those that missed out.

here are two for those that missed out.

We're all relieved and excited that you guys had fun! Aside from a few minor hiccups it all went a lot more smoothly than we could have even hoped for. The 3 initial run groups turned into one large run group by the end of the day thanks to the attrition rate of drifting, but I'm pretty sure all of the people who were able to make it to the end of the day got somewhere in the region of 80 RUNS on the 0.6 mile course! People were running out of gas and energy before running out of seat time, which is totally phenomenal.
The gift packs weren't necessarily for the best drivers of the day, but rather we picked people that came with a smile and were just out to have a blast rather than to prove something - that's what it's all about.
HUGE thanks to everyone who came out to drive, help and crew! We look to top this event at OCCC in Orlando in late April/May with more course, more cones, more spectators and more drivers!!
