hey guys i wanted to start drifting so i did a lil reasearch read the thread about joing the scca and going to auto cross and such... anyway
im gona be driveing a 92 240sx its got the ka24de not gona lie its in rough shape right now but i wanted to come into this with the project car so i can learn all the mechanics of how this stuff works at the same time

im not to shure what the scca is other than they inshure u at there events for 1mil medical...any info on them auto cross getting my car drift rdy and beginers tips (where to go what to do what not to) would be great

 

autox will frown on drifting and may even kick you out. but I do suggest doing Autox to get the feel of car control. Learn proper line and how to push the car to the edge of its abilities some. Then come out to drift events and learn how to slide.

auto-cross???
It really depends on the event, but yeah if you dont know what your doing. You'll get kicked out; fast.

But if you stay on line and dont hit any cone I cant see how they'd get mad. (I scored 4 from last oversteering the entire course.

god u guys are stupid, your not supposed to drift at the auto-x. its meant to teach u car control and driving dynamics. morons.

But it was a technical course..very tight
