I just wanted to thank all the drifters who participated in the Charlotte County Drift Competition on January 3rd, 2010. I was really happy with the turn out of Drifters even though the weather wasn't the warmest. Congrats to the winners. I'm hoping to host another event soon. Maybe in mid April. I have discussed with the owner the arrangement of holding a practice once a month. I promise to keep you all posted as soon as we have a confirmed schedule. I had a great time! Entry fee isnt bad for a cash prize, I think you should host practices with a better entry fee...

 

it was fun, and for a contest the fee wasn't bad but for practice days keep it cheap and people will show up .

 

Would a fee of $20.00 be ok for an all day practice? All day being 9am til 5shared_pm. Spectators would be $10.00. We would have to hold practice on Sundays though. How does this all sound?

I'd be down there in a heartbeat for that price.. it makes up for further drive to desoto but I'll make the trek for a smoother track.
