Dates: Every Friday
Time: 7pm-12am
Cost: 25 per car, 25 per driver, 5 spectate (So if you are driving your own car its 50, add driver is 25)
Location: Central Florida Road Course (Home for directions)
Tire Changer: Yes, will verify if it per tire or off tips (will update when I find this out)

We will be running in conjunction with the Auto Cross the same night. They will be utilizing the front half of the track, we will be using the back half (i.e. the actual road course, not the skid pad). The course is a 2nd gear course (layout will vary from week to week) for the time being, if you can hit 3rd more power to you. I hit 3rd today no problem so it should be to hard for those of you with some experience under your belt. For the time being, there is no tandem due to the auto cross being held at the same time. When we generate a large car count, we will have our own day and tandem will be allowed. Same tech requirements apply, helmets, fire ext, no loose items, no leaks, and no bald tires.

Bonus part 1: Drifters will be allowed to flip flop. If you wish to drift some, then go to the auto-X course you may. Auto-X'rs will not be allowed to drift.

Bonus part 2: There is plenty of run-off... You will not hit anything except a cone unless you are just being retarded. There is 30 feet of run-off between the road course and the tire barrier/k-rails.

The way I have it planned is drivers will also run the event at the same time. Flaggers, cone fixers, etc will be rotated amongst ourselves so we are self sufficient and everyone gets to drive and no one is left out.

All rubber that you burn MUST be taken with you; we cannot leave any on the track PERIOD. I will type up a tech sheet within the next few days and post it on the internet so you can see exactly what needs to be done. I don’t care about your driver’s license or any other bullshit, this is not OSW, this is a complete 180 from it. This is an event for drifters run by drifters so it is what WE make it.

THE TRACK:


The red dots are where we will be launching at. South of the red dots will be the pits, pre-grid and grid. Everything to the north west of the green line is ours and we can do anything we want course wise with it. I will be keeping it simple this coming Friday to fine tune everything and prevent chaos.


In addition, I just want to say... I am glad that everything that all of us have worked on as a community for the past 3+ years has finally come together. Look forward to see all the old and some new faces out at the track..
